About First Step Foundation

First Step Foundations, established in 2020 and registered under the Trust Act, is a non-profit organization committed to social change and economic empowerment. Founded by a diverse group of education experts, legal professionals, technologists, entrepreneurs, students, and young activists, the organization focuses on assisting marginalized communities. By equipping the unemployed and disadvantaged youth with vocational skills, First Step Foundations aims to improve their employability and educational opportunities.

The organization’s core belief is that overcoming economic poverty requires enhancing the livelihood capabilities of the poor, providing sustainable income opportunities, and empowering them to envision and achieve a better future. This involves developing their technical, organizational, negotiating, and networking skills. First Step Foundations is dedicated to supporting men and women in poverty, helping them set and achieve goals, access essential services, and assert their rights and entitlements.
